Processing of ferrous metals derived from lightweight collection

ITR – Recycling Systems designs and manufactures turnkey light scrap ferrous metal treatment plants, intended for companies involved in the recovery and recycling of metal scrap. To achieve this, in ITR’s light scrap ferrous metal treatment plants, the input material is first processed using TSS shredders, which perform roughing and volume reduction. This is followed by a crushing phase with fixed HMS or mobile HMM hammer mills, magnetic separation, and non-ferrous metal separation from inert materials using SCP (Eddy-Current) separators.

ITR’s hammer mill technology enables high-quality output material, ready for inclusion in an HMS Ref refining line (for non-ferrous fractions), or for treatment in melting furnaces (for ferrous fractions).

All ITR – Recycling Systems plants are equipped with independent controls for easy integration into existing process lines, along with a software management system that ensures constant monitoring and allows for remote calibration of the entire system.

In addition, ITR plants are equipped with effective dust, gas, and odor suppression systems, which operate during processing to safeguard the environment, protect workers’ health, and ensure the quality of the final recycled fractions that are returned to new life.
