Double ITR line for the treatment of aluminium scrap

Two new ITR aluminium scrap processing lines have been realised at the request of the largest alloy die casting group in the Indian market, a group with a combined aluminium-zinc production of 310,000 tons/year.

The first line, which has a capacity of 14 tons/hour, comprises an ITR TSS 200 twin-shaft shredder and an ITR HMS 140Hi hammer mill and processes aluminium scrap such as profile, sheet, and others; the final sorting of the alloys is done by two x-ray separators.

The second line, which will be delivered at the end of the year, includes an ITR HMS 140Hi hammer mill, and will be dedicated to the processing and separation of UBCs.
